Ohio State’s football team will be in New Orleans taking on Alabama on New Year’s Day, but there will still be a Buckeye at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
This particular Buckeye will be 16 feet, 6 inches tall, festooned with 12,000 roses and raised in a southern California warehouse. Scotts Miracle-Gro, based in Marysville, will be submitting its 40,000-pound baby in a tradition even older than the game — the Rose Parade. (Read more->)
